Are you ready for the bestest, most baseballiest, most art filled post yet! Get out your scorecards and start yelling for a hot dog at the college kid trying to pay his way through college with this second job cuz he blew most of his scholarship on booze and beer pong posters for his late night parties hoping to make the frat guys jealous who wouldn’t let him in after they caught him playing with Magic cards the first day of orientation with his now roommate/best friend Barry.
Enjoy these amazing baseball caricatures of the senior boys of the Messiah Baseball team. You’re Welcome
P.S. Jordan’s Kickstarter is going really well, however he is having trouble with the printer we chose to go through. Even though he formatted the book himself so that it works the way its supposed to, the printer is still going to add 2 extra pages on the end which really messes with his design. We are still going to look for an answer, because right now this printer is what we can afford, especially since its the only print on demand service we found. Fingers crossed it won’t be as bad as we think right now
Totally fantastic pics. I love your work.

I follow a blog that is by a very talented artist named Ali R.Thome. Please take a look at the latest post. The pics are awesome (as usual).
Awesome stuff girl friend :3!
These are great! As always :D
So sorry to hear about problems with the printer. I’m curious. ;)
His book is read from both ends because it’s 2 stories that meet in the middle. So the problem is that this printer is adding pages to the “back” which means that his book will appear to have a front and back to the general public that read it which is not what we want for the book. In short, it might mean extra pages to the front and back
OMG! My friend Barb and I have had a flip book on the burner for years. I can see that this would be difficult with some printers. Some can’t deal with out of the norm. Man you really don’t want to compromise on something so important … or on any of our work for that matter. I hope it all goes well! And thank you for inadvertently giving me a heads up on potential problems.
no prob! this is why art community is so important. so we all can learn from each other :)
:D
We’re winding up for the usual long stretch of heat and endless innings before the World Series. (Yankees fan in the house.) These caricatures are great. Thanks for sharing.
i come from a baseball family so the baseball season is definitely one i look forward too :) Sorry to hear you’re a Yankees fan but i won’t judge (hehehehehe) couldn’t help myself!
I just live with a Yankees fan. Kinda the same, but really I’m just his fan. : )
hahaha that’s the best kind anyway :)
HI, this is the first time here and I love your work. I am a baseball nut so it grabbed my eye, I was reading about your printing troubles and wondered if you had tried either of these printers.

Both seem easy to work with and look to be more customer friendly than some.
Good luck with your book. If you get it going I would love to buy a copy. Please let me know.

Thanks a lot, we’ll definitely check them out :)
I think I’ll follow you. In a non stalker, word press kind of way. :-)
